These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between the client (“Client”) and Organza Events (“Service Provider”), located in Longueuil, Quebec, governing the rental and decoration services provided for weddings and events.

By reserving with Organza Events and paying through this website, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below. Acceptance of these terms forms a legally binding contract in accordance with the Civil Code of Québec.

1. Minimum Event Spend

A minimum booking of $500 CAD (before taxes and fees) is required for all events.

2. Reservation & Deposit

To reserve a date a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total invoice amount. the rest 75% payment must be done 3 business days before the event date.

3. Service Area

Services are provided within Montreal and surrounding areas, including Laval, West Island, and the South Shore.

  • For locations outside these areas but within the province of Quebec, a travel fee will apply.

  • Any reservation from outside Quebec or Canada will be automatically cancelled and refunded minus processing fees.

4. Delivery, Installation & Teardown

  • Within 30km of our Montreal location: $150 flat fee

  • Beyond 30km: $1.50 per additional km

Organza Events is not liable for any restrictions imposed by venues related to setup or teardown.

5. Rental Items & Ownership

All items provided are rentals and must be returned in their original condition, except for:

  • Classic album guestbooks

  • Play card guestbooks

  • Foam signs

These items are yours to keep and are included in your final invoice.

All flowers used in the decor are artificial.

6. Security Deposit

A $500 security deposit is required before your event and is fully refundable within 5 business days after all items are returned in good condition.

  • Deductions will apply in cases of missing, broken, damaged, or stained items, deductions are solely the vendors decision.

  • Damage caused by venue staff or guests is the full responsibility of the Client.

7. Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email organzaevents@outlook.com)

  • The 25% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of reason.

7. Vendor Cancellations

In rare and unforeseen circumstances, Organza Events may need to cancel. In such cases:

  • A full refund of all payments made will be issued, including the deposit.

  • Organza Events will make reasonable efforts to assist in finding a comparable alternative.

  • Liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Client.

  • We reserve the right to cancel this contract and your online order at anytime we feel that the obligations cannot be met by both parties (The Vendor and or The Client) and we will be held blameless for this decision. If we initiate the cancellation of the contract, we will provide a full refund.

9. Force Majeure

Organza Events is not liable for cancellations or delays due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, public health emergencies, venue closures, transportation failures, or acts of God.
In such cases, rescheduling will be offered where possible. Refunds will be issued minus incurred costs if rescheduling is not feasible.

10. Liability

Organza Events is not responsible for:

  • Personal injuries, loss, or property damage occurring at the event.

  • Misuse of rented items.

  • Venue-related delays or damage caused by third parties.

The Client is fully responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible and suitable for installations at the agreed times.

11. Changes to Reservation

Any change to your booking (theme, decor items, timing) must be requested in writing and is subject to availability and possible additional fees.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By checking the acceptance box or proceeding with payment through the website, the Client acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. This digital agreement is binding and enforceable under Quebec law.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Judicial District of Montreal, to the exclusion of any other jurisdiction.

14. Third-Party Disputes

Organza Events is not responsible for any disputes, conflicts, or misunderstandings that may arise between the Client and third parties, including but not limited to:
guests, venue staff, other vendors, or suppliers.
The Client is solely responsible for coordinating with their venue and any other service providers to ensure compatibility with the decoration and rental services offered by Organza Events.

15. Disclaimer

Organza Events will provide and install the audio guestbook phone in working condition and with clear instructions for use. However, the Client understands and accepts that:

  • Organza Events is not responsible for a lack of messages recorded due to guests choosing not to leave a message, user error, or tampering with the device.

  • In the unlikely event of a technical malfunction that results in no audio messages being recorded or retrievable, the Client will receive a full refund of the audio guestbook rental fee only.

  • This refund is limited to the amount paid for the guestbook rental service and does not extend to other costs or damages.

  • flower arrangements may look slightly different in person from what you see on your screen

16. Media Usage & Model Release

The Client grants Organza Events the right to photograph, video record, and/or use images and recordings of the event setup, décor, and related services provided by Organza Events for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

  • Website portfolio

  • Print or digital promotional material

This may include images where guests or the couple are visible, though Organza Events will focus primarily on the decor.
